What is that?

Oxidative stress means that free radicals are formed. These are harmful to the body because they have a free electron that wants to bind with other substances in the body (e.g. proteins or cell walls or parts of the DNA strand). This can therefore lead to physical complaints. There is no risk

By drinking hydrogen-rich water, an additional hydrogen molecule is now introduced into the body. This should then bind to the free electron of the radicals and prevent damage to the body.

There is no risk with this type of hydrogen treatment “as oxygen and bound hydrogen are well tolerated,” says Dr. Ogilvie.

Some studies even say that hydrogenated water can help treat brain damage because it reduced brain swelling when tested with mice. Whether and to what extent treatment with hydrogenated water will be used in conventional medicine in the future remains to be seen.
